CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
Operating in a responsible and sustainable manner is important to Tectrade and the wider CSI Group.
Whilst we run our business in line with the expectations of our global stakeholders, we also see corporate responsibility as a discipline that helps us to manage risks and maximize on the opportunities presented to us in a changing world.
We take our corporate responsibility across the group as an employer, partner, solutions provider, investor and consumer seriously.
The aim is to demonstrate these responsibilities through our corporate policies.
We focus our CSR in the following areas:
Workplace
Our ability to deliver world class solutions is dependent on a talented and engaged workforce. Because of this, we focus on making Tectrade a great place to work, where people feel supported, are able to develop their skills and have a clear understanding of the wider business objectives.
Additionally we:
- Operate an equal opportunities policy for all current and potential future employees
- Offer our employees clear and fair terms of employment and provide opportunities to enable them to continually develop
Health & Safety
We shall provide and strive to maintain a clean, healthy and safe working environment. Providing a workplace where employees feel safe is not just a legal obligation but also a fundamental factor of building employee engagement within the company.
Health & Safety is managed at a Group level and as such we look to ensure that Health & Safety is embedded into all management and business processes.

We are committed to and are passionate about delivering value to our customers. Everything we do is about providing world class solutions and the best possible customer experience.
We have a passion for excellence and we take pride in our ability to solve our customers’ problems, focusing on delivering innovative solutions in a timely manner.

We will register and resolve customer complaints in accordance with our published standards of service. Our contracts will clearly set out the agreed terms, conditions and the basis of our relationship.
We will operate in a way that safeguards against unfair business practices.
Environment
We are committed to a programme of management, continuous improvement and reporting of our direct and indirect impacts, which mark our contribution to improving the world in which we live.
We recognize that our business activities have direct and indirect impacts on the societies in which we operate. We endeavour to manage these in a responsible manner, believing that sound and demonstrable performance in relation to corporate social responsibility policies and practices is a fundamental part of business success.
Examples of our activity in this area are:
- Use of Webcasts to deliver All Employee meetings to avoid excess travel
- Process to turn off all lights and PC monitors at night
- Corporate functions at venues that support sustainable environments
- Double sided printing set as default on all PCs and printers
- New marketing material produced on material sourced from sustainable sources
- Support of remote and flexible working – enabled reduction in office space
Community
We support our employees in fundraising for charities and voluntary work, recognising both the benefit to the community and to the employees themselves.
There are a number Tectrade employees that regularly undertake fundraising and Charity work.
We are also committed to making a sustainable positive impact on the communities in which we operate. We aim to make a distinctive contribution to inequality and social development through the establishment of effective partnerships and programmes that make the best use of the energies and skills of our employees.
Business Processes
Tectrade complies with all applicable laws, statutes, regulations and codes relating to anti-bribery and anti-corruption including but not limited to the Bribery Act 2010.
We are committed to ensuring that our business is conducted in all respects according to rigorous ethical, professional and legal standards.
We are committed to continuous improvement in our Corporate Social Responsibility programme and encourage our business partners to strive for similar performance.
Our performance will be periodically reviewed and reported on to help us meet our policy goals.
Modern Slavery Act 2015 Statement
Modern slavery is a criminal offence under the Modern Slavery Act 2015 (the “Act”). Modern slavery can occur in various forms, including servitude, forced or compulsory labour and human trafficking, all of which have in common the deprivation of a person’s liberty by another in order to exploit them for personal or commercial gain.
As a Group, CSI and Tectrade have a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery. Tectrade is committed to acting ethically and with integrity in all Tectrade business dealings and relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure modern slavery is not taking place anywhere in our own businesses or those of our suppliers/customers.
Tectrade aims to encourage openness and will support anyone who raises genuine concerns in good faith under this policy, even if they turn out to be mistaken. Tectrade is committed to ensuring no one suffers any detrimental treatment as a result of reporting in good faith their suspicion that modern slavery of whatever form is or may be taking place in any part of our own business or in any of our supply chains/customers. Detrimental treatment includes dismissal, disciplinary action, threats or other unfavourable treatment connected with raising a concern. The Company will accept and take seriously concerns communicated anonymously.
